In Egypt, anyone with a laptop is now an "ads agency". The wrong choice costs you a year and a budget; the right one changes the business. Here's how to tell them apart.
Ask about numbers, not portfolios
Anyone can show pretty work. Ask: what did a result cost? How did that number move over months? What did you test and what failed? Agencies that measure answer with numbers. Agencies that don't answer with adjectives.
Red flags
- Guaranteed results — nobody controls the auction.
- Reports made of reach and impressions — metrics that feel good and pay nothing.
- Refusing to explain where budget goes.
- Owning your accounts — the most dangerous one.
The three pricing models
1. Fixed retainer — 10,000–18,000 EGP/month
Clearest and easiest to plan around. Best when spend is steady or under 50,000 EGP/month.
2. Percentage of spend — 25%
Available once monthly spend exceeds 50,000 EGP. The fee scales with your budget, which suits variable or seasonal spending.
3. Hybrid — 15% of spend + 5% of net profit
A lower fixed fee with shared upside. This is the model that ties part of our income to your actual result — we win when you win.
If an agency won't talk about cost per result, it isn't measuring.
What actually decides campaign success
Creative is the biggest lever by a distance. Targeting delivers the ad; creative decides whether anyone stops. Then the offer, then the landing page. Targeting tweaks are usually the smallest lever despite getting the most attention.

What does ads management cost in Egypt?
Three models to choose from: a fixed retainer of 10,000–18,000 EGP/month, 25% of ad spend when monthly spend exceeds 50,000 EGP, or 15% of spend plus 5% of net profit. Whichever you pick appears on your quotation.
Which pricing model is right for me?
If your spend is steady or under 50,000 EGP/month, the fixed retainer is clearest. If spend is large and variable, a percentage scales with you. The hybrid lowers the fixed fee and ties part of our income to your actual profit.
Will I own the ad account?
Always. The account, pixel and page belong to you; we take access. An agency that insists on owning them is building a hostage, not a partnership.
